About Emma

Counselor, LMHC, R-DMT (she, her)

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Florida and my Master’s in Science from Pratt Institute, with a specialization in Creative Arts Therapy. I’m passionate about restoring emotional, physical, and physiological wellness.

I utilize creative movement, art-making, and musical expression as therapeutic mediums, which allows for flexibility in sessions where words are not always necessary. I have extensive experience in working with LGBTQIA+ populations, teens and young adults, trauma and PTSD, and a range of personality disorders.

I’m formally trained and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). In striving to create a safe space through trauma-informed care, I walk closely alongside my clients through their journey.

Please contact me if you think we’d be a good fit!

I spend the majority of my summers camping in upstate New York

I was a competitive dancer for 10+ years of my life

I was a cheese monger for 5 years and very much enjoy discussing (and eating) fancy cheese
